Warranty

A. Some of I’M TECHNOLOGIES® products purchased on STORE.IMTECHNOLOGIES.NET come with twelve (12) months limited warranty. The warranty period commences on the date the product is delivered to the customer.

B. The warranty excludes software, consumable items, and accessories, such as Tuya , cables, screws, capacitors, and other similar components even if packaged or sold together with the Product.

C. The warranty covers defects in the product that are present at the time of delivery, such as broken glass or other physical damage. Please note that the products undergo quality control (QC) inspection before being delivered to the customer. Normal wear and tear is not covered under the warranty.

D. The repair or replacement process typically takes between 1 - 4 weeks, depending on the specific product and the availability of spare parts.

E. I’M TECHNOLOGIES® may use rebuilt, reconditioned or new parts and components when repairing any product. Alternatively, we may replace the defective product entirely with a rebuilt, reconditioned or new I’M TECHNOLOGIES® product.

F. After-sales service, including warranty, repairs, and replacements or returns, is only available in Mauritius. Customers outside of Mauritius will not be able to receive warranty service.

G. I'M TECHNOLOGIES® charges a fee for intervention if there is no defect found in the product. The fee is based on the technician's time and travel expenses.

H. The limited warranty does not cover:
• Defects or damage resulting from accidents, neglect, misuse or abnormal use; defects or damage caused by abnormal conditions or improper storage; exposure to liquid, moisture, dampness, sand, dirt or insects; unusual physical, electrical or electromechanical stress.
• Improper installation - Smart switches must be installed in accordance with BS7671. Failure to do so may result in electrical hazards, including shock, fire, and burns.
• Scratches, dents and cosmetic damage.
• Defects or damage resulting from excessive force or use of metallic objects on the touch screen.
• Devices that have the serial number or the IMEI numbers removed, defaced, damaged, altered or made illegible.
• Ordinary wear and tear.
• Software Issues, Server Issues, Software Bugs caused by Tuya or Smart Life.
• Defects or damage resulting from the use of the product in conjunction with accessories, products, or ancillary/peripheral equipment not furnished or approved by I’M TECHNOLOGIES®.
• Any physical feature defects or damage resulting from improper testing, operation, maintenance, installation, service, or adjustment not furnished or approved by I’M TECHNOLOGIES®.
• Defects or damage resulting from external causes such as collision with an object, fire, flooding, dirt, insects, windstorm, overload, lightning, earthquake, exposure to weather conditions, theft, blown fuse, or improper use of any electrical source.
• Defects or damage resulting from cellular signal reception or transmission, or viruses and other software problems introduced into the product.
• Products not purchased from STORE.IMTECHNOLOGIES.NET or its authorized resellers (we recommend that you contact the point of sale for support).
• Products purchased outside of officially supported I’M TECHNOLOGIES® countries or regions.
• Repair(s) conducted by unofficial repair centers.

Contact I'M TECHNOLOGIES® to claim you warranty if you had defects in the product that were present at the time of delivery.
